LANSING— State Sen. Judy Emmons is inviting mid-Michigan residents to the grand opening of a district office in Mt. Pleasant on Oct. 25.
“As we work hard to energize Michigan’s economy and create jobs, it is important to listen from residents about their insights, ideas and concerns,” said Emmons, R-Sheridan. “I am pleased to announce that we are opening a district office in Mt. Pleasant that will be a convenient and closer location to serve the needs of area residents and answer questions.
“I invite all mid-Michigan families and job providers to join us at an open house for conversation with old and new friends at the new local office.”
The open house will be Thursday, Oct. 25 from 1 to 6:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be available and guests can enter a drawing for a visit to the Capitol and Emmons’ Lansing office.
“As your senator, I remain committed to helping residents who need help with a state issue or learning from people about how we can improve government efficiency and accountability,” Emmons said. “The district office will help us provide the best constituent service possible.”
Emmons’ district office is located at 405 S. Mission St., Suite D in Mt. Pleasant. The toll-free phone number for the office is 1-866-305-2133.
Guests are encouraged to park on the northeast side of the building and enter through the side door.
Constituents with questions or comments about state issues or pending legislation may always contact Sen. Emmons’ office at 517-373-3760 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
