LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Judy Emmons on Friday applauded MRB Enterprise, located in Mt. Pleasant, for its plans to expand in the area.

“This is wonderful news for the people of mid-Michigan and the entire state,” said Emmons, R-Sheridan. “I applaud MRB Enterprise officials for their commitment to the region and the Michigan Strategic Fund board for helping make this project a reality. The state support will result in $2 million in additional financing, which will be invested into the local community to help meet increased demand.”

The Michigan Strategic Fund has approved $998,000 in collateral support to Fifth Third Bank for an increased revolving line of credit for MRB Enterprise, which is the parent company of TTS Logistics, Beard Oil Distributing and ML Transit Transportation.

The businesses are experiencing significantly increased sales and expect to hire new employees.

The increased funding will support the company’s plans to expand by providing fuel systems for pipeline development projects.
